BIOGRAPHY

Tianzhou Architectural Photography Studio (TJAP) was founded in 2022 by YANG Tianzhou, a London-based architectural photographer born in Beijing. Tianzhou holds a master's degree in architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London, as well as a bachelor's degree in architecture from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University in Shanghai.

With his strong background in architecture and photography, Tianzhou is able to professionally observe, understand, interpret, and capture the unique beauty of architecture through his camera lenses. He adds a humanistic and multicultural touch to his photographs, which fully reflect the conceptual designs and subtle details of the architects.

In Tianzhou's view, architectural photography is more than just "mirroring" architecture. His multicultural and professional background allows him to observe and reflect critically on how architecture relates to culture, history, politics, the environment, and people. This is evident in his photographs.

Tianzhou loves to use digital cameras, which not only allow him to freeze the transient beauty of architecture, but also save costs for clients without compromising quality. His work has won numerous prizes and has been featured in professional architectural media, which has brought him many clients, including avant-garde architectural design studios in China and international design companies.
